Came in Friday 18th November around 12 noon very quiet 2 or 3 tables taken ordered 2 light bites Salmon Medley service was exceptional by all staff. Unfortunately there was inadequate heating which made the whole experience rather uncomfortable. One regular customer known by the staff came in and was asked did she want the fire on...... Obviously a long... More

We attended here with my mother early on a Saturday evening. Staff were welcoming, polite and professional. My initial impressions were of the clean and bright aura together with a nice welcome. The meal and drinks were good and all served in a timely fashion with a smile and politeness even though the restaurant was very busy. The menu choice... More

Booked to have lunch after a trip to Caernarfon Castle to see the poppies... fantastic lunch, food hot, plentiful & delicious if a little pricy... serving staff and bar staff welcoming and efficient but whole experience overshadowed by a manager who told bar staff off through gritted teeth interrupting me being served and to me is in need of leadership... This old pub has gone from strength to strength and is now a first class 'eating house' with atmosphere, a friendly and efficient waiting staff, and excellent plain food. You don't need, or want, a fancy sauce with their steaks. The standing menu is varied and there is also lots to tempt one on the 'Day's Specials' board. Prices are... More

We haven't been here in eons (no reason) but have now been twice in less than a week ! The food is just yummy ! and the service is faultless. The staff all compliment each other and it works like clockwork ! Just a very pleasurable experience. Can't wait to taste the Christmas menu

I visited the Queen's Head for lunch with a friend. Impressed by the friendly welcome and the smart, comfortable décor. We were shown to a table and presented with a menu that was varied in content and based on fresh, local produce. We sampled the Wild Horse beer which was excellent and an ideal accompaniment with our meals, char grilled... More

Called at the pub without booking a table , got seated straight away ,everyone was so friendly and helpful. Ordered a drink straight while we looked at the menu. Was lots to choose from , decided on Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed! 3 roast meats to choose from ,we had the beef ,plenty of it and very tender.... More

Amazing food prepared perfectly. The menu is full of flavour and very varied with something for everyone. The pan fried salmon was cooked beautifully and the cheesecake was one of the best I've ever had (and I've eaten in the Cheesecake Factory in Dubai) The restaurant/ Gastro style pub is bursting with atmosphere, friendly faces, hearty smells and happy customers....
