Good for a drink and a snack. Very understaffed for the number of visitors but nice young people working.

We visited Easter Monday so you'd expect the place to be busy and it was but not excessively busy. The staff really struggled to serve people in an orderly manner and it was quite chaotic. The staff themselves were fine but the place just needed managing. The main issue was the whole facility was really tired and just not clean... More

I hadn't been to the Alpine Lodge for a few years but when my daughter got an invite to a sno-tubing party over a Saturday lunchtime the opportunity for the family to revisit arose. Even better it was on a very sunny and warm spring day so we were able to sit outside on the terrace taking in the fantastic... More

Lovely to sit and watch the ski slopes and go cart activities from the cafe adjacent to the ski slope. Fabulous views. Enjoyed a drink her recently

Popped in here after some great fun on the toboggan run with the kids, the view from up there is breath taking, and the hot chocolates went down very well after being out on the slopes for a while, well worth the visit, even just for the views!

Basic panini and fries, coffee was ok. Service was quick and the layout was good for families and pushchairs. The views here are great, worth the walk up! Food was cheap and great value for money.

We called with our 14 month old son and 12 week old Labrador for a quick snack after going on the toboggan run. Staff were extremely welcoming as was the resident dog, Fergus! Views from the lodge are stunning, which is why we didn't notice the decor which other reviewers complained about. We had a panini each and a drink... More

Although dogs are allowed in cafes thanks to a ridiculous EU regulation, I don't think it's ok for a dog to be roaming around a cafe, without a leash and especially not up at a table eating leftovers! I pointed this out to a young lass behind the bar who simply replied "it's the owners dog, it's ok"..... The coffees... More

Didn't expect much but to be honest the food was great value and delicious , ok so its not exactly brand new or even particularly looked after but the food was genuinely nice and great value. It could really be so much more tho with a few quid thrown at it
