Love this place, can't speak highly enough of Ann the owner. I called in advance and she bought a bottle of champagne for us (pre-ordered) to accompany the meal, which by far beats the £30 the hotel would charge us for the bottle. Can't fault the place at all.

Been 3 times now, once with friends for Sunday lunch, recommended it to colleagues who have twice in a week! Slightly off the beaten track, so not as obvious as those on Mostyn Street. Excellent value for money, service very friendly but not pushy, food hot and generous served on hot plates - can't abide tepid food on cold plates.... More

The meal was excellent! Just the thing for a midday break when two ladies are out shopping. The Cottage pie was to die for!! The atmosphere of the Restaurant was calming and relaxing. The service was great too, friendly accommodating staff. Prices are reasonable and this reflects in the meals and drinks where good quality food is served. I am... More

Visited in September '16. An extremely well-run establishment 'hidden' in a back street behind NatWest bank. A lovely atmosphere, with excellent food. I had the plaice and chips. Cooked perfectly, It would be easy to pass this establishment by;.. but just step inside!.

We've been here a number of times over the years and have always found the food, staff and atmosphere to be excellent, warm and friendly. Today was a day trip to Llandudno with a few old friends and I led the way straight here for coffee and cakes. As usual everything was excellent and my friends now have a new... More

Highly recommended by my parents, and on a day off I was escorted out for lunch by my mum, along with my 6 year old daughter. Food is excellent, very very tasty and good portion sizes, excellent value for money. The only thing that annoys me is that I've lived here all my life and never been before! Would recommend... A small restaurant, this place punches above its weight! My chicken and ham pie was as good as any I have eaten. The plaice was very good quality and perfectly cooked. Plenty of vegetables added to the experience. We did not have wine, but I would take issue with a previous client who seemed to think 14 to 15 pounds... More
