My guest’s recommendation, and an excellent choice. I didn’t fancy a traditional roast for Sunday lunch, and although it was there on the menu I enjoyed the haggis bajhi for starters and a more traditional cheese and onion tart. Both were excellent. The service was...More

Great little pub, I've used this in the summer months for a meeting place with family. Nice outside sitting area to make the most of the sunshine with inexpensive drinks.

Popped in for lunch. Their steak pie was excellent, as always. The staff are always friendly and always a good choice of ales.

Wow! A roaring log fire, brilliant selection of quality beers, lovely atmosphere and great food. We enjoyed lunch here on a busy Saturday and remarked on the variety of food on offer, all reasonably priced. We opted for sandwiches /ciabattas with bowls of chips. All...More

Hi Karen, Unfortunately no, we do not allow dogs into the pub. They are more than welcome outside of the pub on our front terrace but we appreciate at this time of year this may not be ideal. Kind regards, Zoe

You'll definitely need to book. 8 of us turned up without having booked and there were no free tables big enough. Lots of space in there though so I'm sure they'll be able to accommodate you all.
