Unusual as in where we live in the U.K.we don't have any southern Indian restaurants. It was quite an experience in trying out the different dishes, food was tasty and fresh, service was friendly and efficient. Have been there three times now and is of the same good quality.

Its a veg and non veg restaurant. Kind of an open type. Most of the times you cannot get seats. Its always full. Their sweets were good.

Always crowded- hence we inferred it is popular and good, which it is. Because of the crowd, service takes some time, but food is authentic Indian and above average. Since we stayed in a hotel close-by with vegetarian guests, we had lunch & dinner there. The only negative side of the story is the fried fish was half-cooked and tasteless

We had dinner here and had their chicken varuval, mutton peretal, fried fish and thosai. This is not our first visit and I try to make a visit each time in penang. Consistently very good and excellent value for money. service too here is very good. Good variety of north and south indian. I find their South Indian preparation quite... More

Excellent variety, food is fresh. Never been let down. Finger-licking good. It is a good opportunity for me to eat with my hands. Mutton curry is excellent, biryani is fragrant and karipap in the afternoons satisfies my cravings!

We've eaten many a tasty Dosai at this resterant for breakfast; and also never been disapointed, when we come for dinner, they have a great menu for all tastes, slightly more expensive than choosing your own from the counter, the staff are very attentive and serve with a smile, regarless of just a coffee or ordering for a party, great... We have enjoyed our dining here quite a few times till lately, when we realized that times are changing. The waiter limited my vegetables on my banana leaf, the curries were cold and the mutton is always inconsistent. It's also unfortunate that we noticed that the waiters preferred serving Caucasian patrons though we waited & called for them repeatedly (even... More
