This was amazing for a good dinner spot. We had fresh Dorado (fish) and the side dishes were excellent. They have two different local beers on tap and several other beverages to chose from. Not many restaurants around with grill but atmosphere not attractive. The food was good, some nice grilled fish and prawns. Fish taste not so good for an island. Staff welcoming and helpful.

BBQ meal, street style. This place is worth a visit; we had the Lamb with Tuna, & other had Lamb with swordfish, both were good although thin cuts of fish/meat.

Arrived at 7pm for dinner. The restaurant cooks all dishes on a grill outside the entrance, street food style. The hygiene was certainly questionable as the grid and surrounds were certainly not clean. Your menu is seriously limited, you order from a selection of 3...or 4 fish, or you can have chicken. This will be then be grilled, and served with chips. The food was just okay. The problem? There were 6 other diners in the restaurant. Our food, 4 orders, took close to 2 hours to produce. The 3 fish orders we could see were ready, the chicken had been forgotten. So we were made to wait while the chicken was cooked! Result after the 2 hour wait? 3 barely warm fish dishes and an over cooked piece of chicken. Really go elsewhere, this place it dodgy, and the kitchen management a disaster.More

Walked from Toparadis towards Perrybere to eat out tonight, various places looked appealing but when we reached ‘Grill and Chill’ something just drew us in (probably the outside grill and smell) we were politely asked “have you booked”? We hadn’t it was very busy but...they found us a table (excellent!!!!) it’s mainly BBQ sea food which my wife loves but I hate so I went for the chicken Breast with potatoes and veg. I had a large beer (600ml) and my wife had a couple of martinis with lemonade, she had the bbq tuna and me the chicken. Meal came to £28 and was very very worth it, lovely ambience, lovely staff and lovely vibe. I’m quite picky so this is high praise - you will probably need to book if in a group over two people it’s busy for a reasonMore

The idea of grilling out the front means food is always freshly cooked. However it could get a bit monotonous if you ate here frequently.

The restaurant is basic, waiting staff is fine. The menue contains pretty much only chicken, scampi and shrimp. Limited choice. The chicken and scampi was nice the shrimp dish is hugely overpriced. 3 shrimp for around 12 $!

Delicious fresh seafood grilled to perfection. You can pick the catch of the day from the counter. The BBQ smell makes you really hungry. When the fish is brought over it's slightly charred and just cooked enough so the freshness of the fish can really...be tasted. Really good accompaniments, too. Steve, Dada (Steve’s dad and the master griller) and his team made us feel more like friends than customers. The food was excellent (grilled chicken and lamb / grilled swordfish and lamb) and after dinner Steve gave us some local “Ginger Rum” and a “B52”...shot on the house! To top it all off, when we left, Dada gifted us with some of his home grown papaya and bananas! Thanks again to Steve and his team for providing us with priceless memories of Mauritius!More

Best sea platter in all Mauritius! We went there few times and everything we try was delicious! Must place to try especially if you love grill food! Everything is fresh and you can see how they grill your food. Super friendly staff and owner.
