We just needed a break and visited this place because of the athmosphere we saw through the windows. Good coffee and real good "grove rundstykker" a kind of bread with Norwegian "brunost" made our day. We couldn't resist the carrotcake-cupcakes either - delicious!

Steam has really friendly staff, good ice creams, beverages, both hot and cold. It's a little bit expensive, especially if you want to have soy milk instead of regular cow's milk.

Loved the style of this place; very cozy place to stop and warm up. And as with all cafes, free wifi :)

Love coming here during the weekend. It can get quite crowded but always very cozy. My personal favorite is latte with the rhubarb muffin. The carrot muffin is great too. The early morning muffins don't taste as nice (aka fresh) though as they're obviously kept from the day before.

One of the nicest coffees we've had on our travels. Excellent service and great decor in very pleasant surroundings. It was a rather chilly inside although they do provide blankets as they do in many Norwegian cafes.

Thought i'd drop in here after walking around in freezing temperatures for a coffee. The coffee was of good quality and the staff were very friendly/helpful.

The worst coffee ever... I asked if the coffee was fresh and she said it was. Well. Tasted like rubber. First and last time to visit.

I lived in Stavanger almost 3 years and didn't find anything better! I am actually still trying to find coffee this good in the USA. Favorites were black coffee & lattes. Nice place to sit down or take your coffee with you- delicious fresh kanelboller as well!

The coffee mocha is by far the best in all of Stavanger. Friendly and helpful staff. They have good sandwiches and ice cream too.

Visited just before closing time and wanted to order a frappe. Staff explained that their frappe was not like other frappes around (with ice cubes), so ended up ordering a mocha. Just happened to be one of the best mochas I've ever tasted! Cheerful and friendly staff. Definitely coming back for more. Highly recommended!
