The food was fairly nice. We ordered a burger and a kind of seafood platter. The burger was good and the platter ok. We also ordered milkshakes which were great and we recommend them. The kitchen closes pretty early and it is kind of self...More

This restaurants has fabulous fresh food and has gluten free (not celiac friendly) options. I recommend the santorini salad. Very cozy and clean atmosphere.

The cafe Lyspunktet is in the center of Alesund, and is not a regular restaurant: there is no alcohol being served, and you have to get the glasses and cutlery yourself. Also you have to order at the bar and pay directly. However the food...More

Cozy atmosphere and very friendly stuff! The burgers were good accompanied with potato wedges. For those with a sweet tooth I recommend the satisfying chocolate or carrot cake.

Although the food was accepable, the service was poor to horrible. The kitchen closed without announcing it and we could not have deserts. The waitress never cleaned out table untill we specifically asked her to do it. After so she left it half cleaned.
