I have been to bars and cafe's around the world, but the service we received during last week(every night for a convention), from Fergus, Josh, Vilde, Maria, Sebastian(the king), the cook and the rest - is priceless! Reading some of the reviews for Cafe Dublin, I was amazed at the wide range of emotion in so many reviews. My view is that if you want New England Clam Chowder, you'll find the best in New England. If you choose to have it...in Texas or in Paris, you should expect an interpretation of that soup. The same is true of Mexican food, what you find all across the U.S. and the rest of the world is some adaptation of what is found in Mexico. So why would the Cafe Dublin be any different? I found their Irish Stew to be a wonderful blend of tender and flavorful lamb with vegetables that were fresh and not over cooked; the broth was delightfully spare (not too thick) and flavored with rosemary and other herbs/spices. The bread that accompanied the very large bowl of stew was crusty and delicious. Many reviewers indicated that the price was high but the portion was large and the stew was particularly tasty. Their Shepherds Pie was also served in a large individual stainless steel pan. The potatoes that topped the beef and vegetables were very tasty. A small salad and crusty bread were included. Oh well on the Guiness...one must adjust. I was dismayed to read a couple of reviews indicating that a bouncer of some kind refused service and in another case "bounced" customers. I would think the customers should have requested a word with the Manager. I would hope that would have resolved any misunderstandings. My experience at the Cafe Dublin was generally very good.More

This is a Irish pub, with a nice atmosphere, and great food. The location is great, just by the town square !

We greatly our meal here. The fish and chips were excellent and the fact that the English menu was highlighted by an Irish tricolour was a nice touch I suspect missed by many!

Been here several times, each time i feel that it is ok. Nothing more nothing less. Stopped by to watch a football game. Decent selection of screens. Food was ok. Beer selection felt really good. So that was a definite pluss.

They don't have guinness... How is it possible to be called Cafe Dublin and not serve guinness? Instead I ordered an Irish Coffee, turns out the cream was old as it split chunks very quickly.

Stayed in a nearby hotel for a few days, and ended up having dinner every single night at Cafe Dublin. The food is simply amazing! Their kitchen perform a treatment of the ingredients that you normally only find in the restaurants in a completely different...league. Great location, lots of space, nice inside, very friendly staff, great selection of draughts. And what a kitchen!More

I`m born With a weak muscle in one of my eyelid! I visit Cafe Dublin 14th of descember, which looked like a Nice Place! But we hadn`t been there for a long time before the barman deicded I was drunk, and denied me service, even...he sold alcohol to People which fail to enter the short code for their payment card! This fee very Close to harassment!!!! And the Security guards was to arrogant to listen to my explanation! So my advice will be, don`t visit this Place if you don`t look Perfect, and don`t want to be asked to leave the Place!!!More

On travel mission to Trondheim I felt for a burger and beer for dinner. Went for the traditional burger added with cheese and bacon. Tasty meat, good bacon and cheese. Fries well made too. A bit dark inside, but that’s Irish style. Several draft beers...available, order at counter and they serve you at table.More

We saw this Irish Pub and restaurant from across the road. We were allowed to choose our own seat and after ordering our food from the counter, we did not have to wait very long for our food despite the crowd. Our order of fish...& chips, club sandwich and buffalo wings were all delicious. The mashed peas that came with the fish & chips was a great joy, my son finished it without asking any questions. Nice place to chill and relax especially to people watch on a rainy day. There are TVs showing football match too. So it will be a bonus for football fans.More
