Nice atmosphere. Kind staff. Lobster tail as starter was fun, but had a weird sting to it. 800g t-bone as main course was well tasting, but very chewy, unfortunatly. But overall decent experience. (Wine was not the best either) A bit too pricey for the...experience i believe. And as the only steakhouse in Trondheim: underwhelming.More

We ordered the Ai Suma BBQ. The food was delicious and plentiful, our waiter (Eirik I think his name was) was absolutely wonderful, and the location authentic and inviting. Would eat there again in a heartbeat!

Very warm and cozy atmosphere in the room. The staff was attentive and welcoming, also the waiters who served at other tables. Lit candles on the table, clean and nice. The service is very fast, the drink arrives at the perfect time and the waiting...time for the food is acceptable. The soft-ice cream dessert with churros was very good, also the coffee drinks. I also recommend the Aperol Spritz for aperitif, it was lovely. There was a lot of people in the restaurant but the noise was acceptable and we were able to communicate well. There was only one minus and that was that the staff should check the ladies' room during the evening. There was some paper on the floor.More

The food was really good. Nice relaxed atmosphere with really pleasant and attentive staff. We had scallops for starters, they where just amazing, in my opinion the fried onions served on top was a bit much and dominated the taste “picture”. The main was deer...meat with mashed potato’s and brusselsprouts with a dark red wine sauce. The sauce was good, but could have been much better - a bit to dark and bitter. The rest was impeccable! The dessert is one of three I’ve had - a different variation of chocolate mouse with fresh raspberries and cream.More

Its a rather anonymous entrance to the restaurant, but when you’ll find it, its like finding a treasure. The food, service, enviroment and even the restrooms were great. As a meat lover i must return for the culinary experience once again.

One of my best restaurant/dinner-experiences ever! The food is absolutely excellent! Perfectly cooked. Maybe to big portions actually... My starter was ok, rhe main dish was awesome and the dessert was great. Nice location by the river. Nice and cozy atmosphere, good service and very good food. We had the BBQ mix - ox, lamb and chicken - excellent in all ways! Price level medium. Good and relevant wine menu, and we were positively surprised by the price level, which was on...the low side despite Norwegian taxes (only Norwegians will understand this: Scarpa La Bogliona cost was < 2x vinmonpolet.no). I highly recommend this place.More

The best dish for me at this restaurant was the Singapore Black Pepper Crab. It was fresh, spicy and finger-licking good. I've not come across this dish in Norway and it was really really good. The last I had Singapore black pepper crab was in...Singapore - so this was a really good surprise. I'd consider making another trip to Trondheim just to eat this.More
