Very nice local brewery in downtown Trondheim. We had some lasagne and seafood pasta and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We visited Øx Tap Room on a Monday evening for dinner and a drink, it is a really quirky bar/restaurant located in Trondheim's main square. It costs around £10 for a pint (115NOK) which we found to be around average price and we also had...a pizza for £15 again not too bad.More

A friend dropped a phone at the table and the whole group was collectively rejected any drinks, even those coming in sober. Poor service and rude waiters. Would not reccomend.

This is an odd place - down in the basement but still rockin' Got a table and got the instruction for ordering food in these covid-times - that did not work so we got - after some minutes.. - to order the "good ol' fashioned-way"...from a waiter . Easy to order and got the drinks and the food really quick - tasty and for a reasonable price.THE best pizza I have tasted for a long time, the dough was incredible tasty and crispy! To pay was a challenge - because of the non-working covid-app-system - and we sat and waited for a long time... In all a reasonable place with great food and beer.More

You really should stop here to get an IPA of their own making, IMO the best IPA in town. The place itself allows you to order food from the place upstairs (Frati) which is also great, so if you're ever in Trondheim, stop by.

Excellent selection of beers including those brewed on site in a fun and lively atmosphere. We had pizzas which were really tasty. You can see the brewing equipment and brewing in progress and was busy on a mid week evening with locals after work. Thumbs...up from us!More

The øx tap room has a really nice feel to it inside. The service is friendly, and when we arrived on a Friday evening, the atmosphere was in full swing. For me though, the bit that let it down was the beer. I ordered an...American Pale, but the beer was lifeless (thin and lacking malt depth and hop balance). The only Porter available. For my wife was an 11% Imperial Stout.More

They have decent beer at a decent price. I feel that the beer varies a bit too much from time to time, but this time the beers on tap was good. Cozy place that has a really good pub feel to it aswell.

What a lovely, relaxing place - beer's great (brewed on-site), comfortable seating, board games to play. On the Saturday afternoon we were there, there was a great jazz band playing.

This a good place for beer, they brew their own and their food is from frati, the restaurant above. Early that place have a good environemnt and youre able to talk to eachother but later it can be quite noizy. Its a big place so...its good if youre a large crowd. All in all good beer and okey food. Recommended for friends and colleagues going out.More

Just saw the sign outside and thought, hmmm this looks interresting. And boy was I right. Great food, great beer and great atmosphere!! The bartender dedicated plenty of time for me as I asked about different types of beer, and he even gave me severeal...tastings before I made my choice. Very friendly and professional 👍 I tried one of their own breewed beers and I was very satisfied. We also experienced that every weekend they have live jazzmusic 🎷🎺 I will deffinetly be back.More
