Simple, but nice and Japan-inspired sushi place. Extremely friendly staff. We had to wait for the food for a while, but it was absolutely worth waiting for.

Oslo can be quite expensive - so if you are on the hunt for sushi, this place is recommendable. The food was really tasty and this family owned restaurant gives a personal and friendly service. I had the large Sashimi and it was perfect.

My favorite sushi café in Oslo. Always good proper bites, fresh fishes and consistent presentation. Though, I prefer being there when the Japanese chef himself makes sushi (during evening time?). Very reasonable price as well.

We were there for lunch. I myst to confess that it is not a fancy place. If you are looking for a sofisticated place, do not go to Mitsu. In other hand, if you are looking for good price and tasty food, that is your place!

...among the reasonably priced sushi eatieries in town. Very popular for ages, eat in or take away. They have new sushi plates now, and have changed the price a wee bit, but even today, when I really had wanted to go for something else there, I still ended up with "A medium sashimi, please." No papers today, which I mentioned,... More

This sushi was among the better I've eaten in Oslo - and serving real green tea from Japan. Food makes you forget interior, waitress was very pleasant and most kind.

But last time was a disappointment. Usually "Mitsu" serves dissent sushi dishes (compared with the price) but sadly they sometimes serve old fish. And that is totally unacceptable when it comes to any kind of sushi!

Well I'm not sure to understand the meaning of the previous comments because, for 200 NOK (25 euro) in Oslo, I have 18 sashimis of fresh and nicely sliced salmon, tuna, halibut, and eel. I may find some more delicately seasoned rice or sharper ponzu sauce in town, but then again, I'll pay 3 times the price. Sure it's nice... More

not so nice inside and not so good sushi(not so fresh fish and not nice layout)! everyone says it is good and cheap in there, but i was disapointed. there is a plenty of places around which serve cheaper and better sushi.
