We went there for lunch. Easy to access from the Oslo Central Station. Ordered the mussel and the fish & shellfish casserole. The mussels are on cream, very fat and fresh. For the casserole, this is lighter with tomato base, also yummy with pawn, mussels,...More

Fancied something different instead of burger and steak and found this fish place. Nice and fresh and service was good price was reasonable and definitely will fill you up. Well worth a visit if you like your fish.

Stopped in for dinner on recommendation of our apartment host. Conveniently located in central Oslo, the fish market has a small restaurant that serves a good basic seafood menu. We had the fish and chips and the seafood stew. Nice portion of fish, decent chips,...More

Very good oysters and fish dishes, authentic, good quality foods, friendly staff, decent wines by the glass. Recommended for lunch and best in good weather as seats are really all outside. Would go back for sure.

If you like seafood, but do not want to pay ridiculously high price, then this place is for you. I ordered mussels in cream and my wife order the fish and shellfish casserole. Interesting thing about the latter was that they gave you whatever available...More

Limited menu and basic service but good. Had the fish and chips at the recommendation of the waiter and it was good. Would have been nice to have had some grilled/broiled/poached options. Also really enjoyed the Fiskerestaurant beer!

Menu for main course $ ranged from 170KR to 400KR. Reasonable price in Norway standard of living. Friendly staffs and normally need to queue for around 15mins during peak hour.

Great meal. We both had the fish and seafood casserole, and they did not skimp on either. Authentic Norwegian cuisine. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Overlooks a lively square with lots of activity.

No dress code whatsoever. Essentially it is a fish shop with a lunch counter.
