The grilled entrecôte was really full flavour , and the meat felt tender and fresh. I even asked if it was norwegian biff since it is difficult to find something good, it happens to be from Drammen. I must set compliments to the asparagus too. In general was a pleasent and consistent good experience since it is not the first... More

Overall: 4- Comments: second time visit now, the first was better. Still quite nice and pleasant. Food is good, and there is a nice atmosphere. A couple of items could have handled better, including an unnecessary misunderstanding that was poorly handled. Otherwise, the service was good. Reservation: yes Location: 4 Menu: 4 Knowledge: 3-4 Originality: 4 Presentation: 4 Taste: 4... More

If you have a penchant for French food, including the rustic kind, then Brasserie Blanche is a place for you. In surroundings resembling a German "bierstube" you are served fabulous food. I've been here twice - both times having the choucroute - a very rustic dish involving pickled cabbage, sausages, thick slices of bacon, and more. It's amazing. I can... More

We have been here quite a few times, its a place we love - both because of the food and wine, but also as the is exceptional friendly and nice. They also have a knowledge on wine that is worth while. Try this restaurant, you will not regret.

Firstly, I would start with the service. Extremely well mannered and helpful. They managed to serve a group of 5 without reservation... The food was exceptional. Great starters and mains. Well cooked and seasoned. I would definitely recommend this to friends visiting Oslo.

Very rustic interior with an welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was really good. I had the duck's breast which was very good, but not as good as the cod which I stole from my neighbours plate. These was a good choice of wine, and the prices were moderat even for a good wine for being in... More

A charming chalet look a like building in the middle of Oslo s main fashion shopping street. Very cosy atmosphere although a little tight between the tables. Effective and proffesional staff ensuring that everything was fully satisfying at all times. Would like to go back out of the x mas season.

Charming and quite a romantisk place. The fire's burning in the winter, and the service is very good. We ate a tasty chevre salat with warm vegetables - a very good combination. I tried the entrecôte WIFIherlig was cooked just the way I asked for and was served with a really good bernaise sauce. The fried were utterly forgettable and... More
