Handsomely self-contained old building that is set off the main drag and has an appearance that suggests a slightly more elevated dining experience of the French persuasion. White is the key colour internally and externally so not a lot of decor to draw the eye,...More

My first time at Brasserie has been a positive experience, in a really pleasent atmosphere, and really good food. Since was new year's dinner, few took the menu with wine and rest with juice , surprisingly interesting and perfectly combine with the dishes both selections...More

Great place, with great ambience and great food at 'sensible' prices on food & wine (if can use such terminology in Norway ...) Very helpful staff, definitely will go back when next in Oslo.

Good location. Beautiful atmosphere. Delicious food. Good portions. Good wine-list with many options as to only have a glass and not the whole bottle. Friendly and helpful staff(my date thought they were too friendly, and made too many jokes, but I still think they deserve...More

Great place for some simple French food. This is not fine dining. You would get bored going here more than once a month, but it is probably a top five restaurant in Oslo at the moment. The chef could get a bit more creative, but...More

We had a 3 course dinner including aperitif and full wine menu, absolutely delicious food, catered well for food allergies. The service was ok, different waiters for the different courses, not sure whether this was on purpose. We will definitely go back!

Nice atmosphere in a quaint building not far from the center of town. Nice variety on the menu. Definitely leaned toward the French side, but the standard Norwegian staples were also available. The sole and special salmon were very flavorful. Entrecote was comparable to some...More

Welcome to Brasserie Blanche!
Restaurant Brasserie Blanche is an informal restaurant located between the Royal Palace and Majorstuen, an established area for nightlife and shopping in Oslo. Our speciality is French classic cuisine, combined with exciting dishes of seasonal ingredients.

Inspiration for life at Brasserie Blanche comes from the best brasseries in France. The combination of quality ingredients and classic dishes in a homely atmosphere has been our recipe for success since 2005. Entrecote, sole meuniere and choucroute are some of the dishes we have on our menu every day. In addition, we also have special weekly menus.
