When you have someone in your group who craves Sushi while in Vienna, this fits the bill. They had a variety of dishes including bento boxes, rice and noodle dishes to everyone in our group found something they liked. Three of us ordered sushi and it was beautiful and fresh. It was very affordable and I would recommend to others... More

I had not been to this Akakiko branch in years and found it quite changed - different furniture, completely new menu - but with the same spectacular view, which in my opinion is really the primary asset of this restaurant. Service was friendly and quick, but my order only arrived after my mother had already finished her meal. In all... More

Cold soup, cold food, sushi was chewy and uneatable. Very disappointing experience and the waiter did not even accommodate in any way. Never will go again!

This is an honest choice for anyone who likes Asian cuisine and doesn't care about fancy or minimalist atmosphere. This is a fast food chain restaurant after all, so don't have unreasonable expectations. Having said that, their rooftop terrace in the summer offers great views of the city. The menu is surprisingly varied and constantly revised.

Fast food restaurant. Poor service with rude stuff. The salad was tasty though! Overall the quality is poor and would not recommend if you are looking for a good sushi experience!

The only thing good about this place is that it had free wifi. Service and food were both terrible. I would not recommend the chicken-mustard salad if my life depended on it.

Good Asian food, fast and good service, nice seating area and nice outdoor deck. Prices are quite reasonable. Recommend for quick lunch/dinner for couples, families or large parties.

It is actually a fast food restaurant. All types of Asian food. Service was awful, we only received one of the two main dishes we ordered (but at least we were not asked to pay for the one we did not receive). Food is "lame", definitely nothing compared to other Japanese restaurants we tried in Vienna. Not recommended.

Akakiko at the 5th floor of the Gerngross department store is one of the Sushi temples in Vienna. Must: check out the 2nd floor, the outside terrace, in summer it offers a fantastic view on Vienna.
