We were at Akakiko last year, and we came back for dinner this year. The place was as good as we rememberred, and the food was good as expected - Miso soups, fried rice, Gyoza and Sashimi for two, beers then coffee. Moderate bill, under...More

I came for a late dinner and had a sweet treat - had the match cheesecake, and I don't really recommend it as it felt really like a sticky jelly, but I did have a nice tea which had ginseng and many other fruits -...More

I am an Akakiko regular, I think it is good sushi for a good price BUT I could not believe the service at this Akakiko at Gerngross. Usually this perticular Akakiko has poor and slow service but to this day nothing bothered me too much....More

I wouldn’t go there again. It was absolutely disappointment. Overpriced (for what you get), it wasn’t even tasting good (we had seafood ramen witch was on the menu recommended, and vegan mushrooms with rice) and it took more than 15 minutes that service even noticed...More

From my perspective, this restaurant was a fast food cafe with restaurant price and attitude. They serve instant ramen that you can buy at a Korean grocery store with .50 Euros and charge 12 Euros. Also, when you order mandu/gyoza, they serve you what tasted...More

Very decent but the fish is frozen and not fresh at all so the pokebowl was gross... otherwise everything was good and the service was great. My love's soup was very bland too.

The Akakiko restaurant in Mariahilfer Straße benefits of a strategic position wirh a nice view on the city. Unfortunately, the upper part of the restaurant, with the terrace, was closed. The interiors are really nice and modern, nonetheless, I was not satisfied with the food....More

We first stopped here for lunch as we passed it while shopping. It was excellent - tasty sushi, my boyfriend's duck ramen was very good (though spicier than expected), and my gyudon (beef/rice bowl) was outstanding, better than any I had during 4 years in...More

The shrimp Dim Sum was with not fresh shrimps. It was smelling terrible and when I told the waiter about this problem,he responded that it was normal for shrimps to smell and he continued to argue with me. Its not acceptable to argue with clients...More

Note that the restaurant starts offering lunch only from 11am. Dropped in and had the chicken gyoza and Ramen. Ramen was mild spicy but was enjoyable in the cold weather.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
