Nice ambience and perfect for summer! The history behind is quite interesting (butterfly museum) and the terrace is just lovely....

Went here because of the beautiful location and styling and wasn't disappointed (although they could make so much more out of it). Also took breakfast here, which wasn't good at all. Due to the high amount of customers (I mean tourists) the food is mass production and is served fast with no personal touch at all. Wouldn't recommend this place... More

Such a beautiful place for breakfast! I was so impressed. We arrived very early on a sunday morning and thank goodness we did because most tables were pretty much all reserved! The menu looked incredible but we had one thing on our mind- granola and a croissant! We got both for about 7 euros which was great value for money... More

The restaurang is inside an Orangerie full with plants and vegetation, The lighting makes a very romantic atmosphere at night. The food is average but the place is worth a visit while you are in Vienna.

Vienerschnitzel costs 22 EUR, soups are around 6-9 EUR. Service was warm and friendly, atmosphere is amazing, sitting among the trees in a glass house. Free wifi (public), card is accepted. Amazing variety of spirits, beers and vines. Book in advance.

I realize that there is variability in reviews of this restaurant, but our dinner experience was excellent. We made a reservation and were given an excellent table. Our server was excellent, found a modest price, high quality Austrian wine, and recommended fish dishes that were wonderful. The preparation was simple but elegant with high quality ingredients. Portions were generous. My... More

An enjoyable place. To use a tourist guidebook cliche "a welcome respite from the tourist crowds." Indeed, a beautiful place to relax. I came here for a tea and some dessert. Poor choice, as it turned out. The tea water was not hot, the sacher torte was plain awful. What surprised me was a fairly strong smell of cooking. Quite... More

In Viennna many places closes early for dining. We came here at 9.45pm and were able to eat local good food. It is inside an old greenhouse.

The garden setting is lovely. The interior is dated and plants are half dead everywhere. It's a reasonably priced brunch option - usual set menu approach well executed. Service very rushed and forgot parts of the order (asked three times for milk with tea before it came). Too many dirty plates stacked up everywhere and very much a tourist option.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
