Glacis Beisl is a leafy downstairs oasis near the Museum Quartier. Easy to miss, as the restaurant itself is obscured from the street; look for menus at top of nondescript concrete stairs and descend. Once there, you'll find yourself in an Austrian forest/beer garden. It's...More

Had a great dinner here on our first night in Vienna. Sadly fully booked thereafter so make a reservation early in your trip if you can. We ate in the garden courtyard which was very pretty. Service was slightly on the slow side to start...More

Hidden away on a side street in the museum district, loved the relaxed atmosphere in the dining room, as well as the decor (proving its possible to mix minimal with stuffed heads on the walls). The food was classic Austrian fare, done well with minimal...More

Hello Valeria! Thank You for your nice review about our garden. We are very sad to hear you had a disappointing experience with our meals! We are offering "gluten free" food, but of course not all of them. What have You ordered? Best regards, Glacis...More

Arrived here at seven, and didn't get served food until closer to eight, which was okay I guess as the place is very pretty. When the food eventually came, my black pudding dish was quite tasty, the black pudding was very rich, but very salty...More

This hidden away gem has amazing garden seating as well as a glassed-in patio. We had a beef dish with potatoes and vegetables that was very well prepared and a generous enough proportion for two hungry people to share. A great selection of wine and...More

This outdoor terrace restaurant tucked away behind the modern art museum in museum quarter. Quiet at lunch and lively for dinner. We went for lunch and had fantastic pork crackling dumplings, rich black pudding and wonderful organic wine.

This is neatly tucked away off the main road and after following the stairs to the restaurant it opens up a quaint oasis in the middle of the city. It is roughly a 4 minute walk from the Volkstheatr metro station so easily accessable. The...More

If you are close to the museum quartier, go up the stairs and you will find it simply hidden at the bottom of a few stairs. At first, it looks like a garden, but you quickly notice the tables set out underneath the trees and...More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
