The most beautiful and classic cafe in town! Love the Sacher torte and the red velvet walls! You can even buy Sacher torte for home if you like. The staff is very polite and with good manners. I am looking forward visit again this place.

It's a beautiful place with friendly staff-- can only recommend. If you are celiac ask for the esterhazy torte which isn't on the menu but is gluten free! Better to double check when you arrive in case they change the recipe. Enjoy!

Decided to try the famous Sacher cake at its original home. While the place is beautiful the cake was nothing to write home about. Only the service was worse!

The ambiance, the Sachertorte and the prices out of this world. My brothers and I made reservations for afternoon tea.

we wanted o have the "Sachertorte" in this beautieful decorated café. However the queue outside to get in was about 30m long, so no chance. What we then did, we bought some specialities from Sacher in their shop adjacent to the coffeeshop. The Sachertorte was...really good :-)More

I'm ashamed to say I was drawn by the tourist thing and only wanted to try the Sacher Torte from here. I personally wouldn't queue for it,for me it was an average chocolate cake, although on the other hand my friend loved it. Was more...impressed by the surroundings and the Sacher Coffee! Service was good too. But I wouldn't go back for the cake again.More

I went by myself at 11am on Monday. Try to make a reservation to avoid needing to wait on line. Even though there was a line outside for people waiting to get in, I never felt rushed and stayed there for 3 hours. The classical...music and the spacing of the tables made the atmosphere relaxing.More

My husband read about this place and proposed to visit it. So we went there and we saw huge line of people wating to seat in. We decided to go somewhere else and have dinner,we were really starving (we ate in the restaurant "L'asino che...Ride"-PERFECT AND TASTY FOOD!!!! Going to take the taxi in front of Sacher cafe,we saw no people and after 7 min.of waiting we were called to come in... The Sacher cake was hard and the chocolate too, paper taste🤮 The Apple strudel: pieces of apples not baked at all, dough hard and unpalatable. The coffee...I can't find worst words... Please don't loose your time and money.More
