I took the Wienerschnitzel vom Kalb (23 Euro!) with percil patatoes and found my schnitzel swimming in cooking oil. Price was way too expensive. The portion looks big but the inside was a thin layer of kalb meat with lots of fried bread-crumbs. I would...by no means recommend this place nor go back.More
The food was great. The service was good to a certain extent. We celebrated a birthday party which started at 1:00 pm with coffee and cake and continued till 11:00 pm. with main courses and drinks. We consumed a lot for a round of 25...people. The waiter was rude enough to tell us towards the end that he wad running at a loss for business because we had taken up too much space which was a liebMore
Was highly recommended in a magazine and we went here for lunch. Nothing special, plain interior and non spectacular food. Service was slow but friendly.
Fair service, cheap prices, good food. Small restaurant with menus and a la carte. Worth the visit for a simple yet good lunch.
The service was horrible and the waiter was kinda rude when I didn’t leave a tip. The reason why I didn’t tip was because the food wasn’t good. The bread was very dry and the goulash was horrible.
We had an excellent lunch and the service was splendid. We felt very welcome recieved knowledagble, curtious and friendly recommendation, could not be more happy!
Fantastic and friendly service, excellent English spoken with great traditional Austrian food and the local Riesling wine was delicious
Great restaurant for authentic Austrian food. Excellent service, both of our servers were very friendly and helpful. We don't speak German, and they pointed us to the right part of the menu for us to read (English). As well as going through each pudding to...translate for us as the desserts weren't written in English. I had the cheese spaetzle, which was beautifully cooked, not too rich and cheesy. My partner had the sausage goulash which was equally incredible, a very smoky, earthy flavoured goulash. The strudel and apricot dumpling was also very worth a try! We came without the kids but it seems like a perfect family restaurant, we would've happily taken the kids.More
Great place for lunch and dinner. Very good traditional food with great schnitzels and desserts. Staff pleasant and attentive. It was a great start to our stay in Vienna
Slowest and most useless waiter in history. No overview. Took more than 30 minutes to order. Don’t go there if you are hungry.
After a long day of walking around the city this was just what we were looking for! The food is great and reasonably priced, the portions sizes are good as well. All the staff were friendly and the place has a nice warm, friendly atmosphere....We actually went back twice and would definitely recommend.More
We go here for lunch from work. It has a basic, but nice atmosphere- clean and airy. The waiters are quick and friendly (even humorous). The prices are reasonable and food is good.
I was there with my family and we had a positive experience. This is a restaurant where you mainly appreciate the food. The forniture is essential and that helps to feel confortable. The waiters were very kind and the service pretty fast. The food was...perfect, we ordered the goulash and the schnitzel and both were so tasty. I think most of guests were locals, which is usually a good indicator. The price is in the avarage. I would suggest this restaurant for sure.More
We had a great time, it’s an authentic Austrian mood, from breakfast to dinner, where the staff is as friendly as it gets. Be sure to ask the waiters for recommendations, they will always surprise you. Don’t forget to leave a tip, it’s well deserved...!More
