What a find in a very touristy part of the city. Behind the heavy door curtain (to keep out the freezing wind from the street) is a tiny family run restaurant serving absolutely delicious Hugarian dishes. I should imagine that it's always packed (& rightly...More

Went for lunch today whilst visiting St Stephens Cathedral and wasn’t disappointed particularly with its close location to this famous church and inner Vienna city. Greta family run restuarant that made you feel welcome as soon as you came through the door, extremely busy and...More

Very good and authentic hungarian cuisine! Had the „hortobagyi“ as a starter: Really great! For the maincourse: paprika chicken which was also very good. Nice and friendly staff and sweet rustical interior. Love it there!

Small quaint place w great service. Room for 34 people to eat so it is a cozy spot. Stuffed cabbage and chicken paprikash just like my Hungarian aunts used to make. Great find and highly recommend.

We had one of the nicest dinners of our vacation here. This is a quiet side street, and we were lucky enough to snag an outdoor table for 2. The server was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced for...More

A relatively small room which is quite crowded. It has nice, old-world, familial ambience. The veal Schnitzel is good: large portion, tender and flavorful meat, standard bread cover, "standard" oiliness. The pan-fried potatoes were OK. We also tried the special which was a goose breast...More

It is a 12 minute walk. You may find it convenient to search Ilona Stuberl through your trip advisor app when you are at the Grand Hotel Wein. You then select directions and the app will guide you to the restaurant. Enjoy
