It’s like walking into a palace. Chandeliers, piano music, special plates, chairs, rooms, waiters in uniform. Top notch service. Modern and traditional food, go upstairs and unwind and dream of Old Vienna.

Everything about this place is overwhelming from the elegant 19th century rooms, to the kitchen which turned out an excellent buffet and the amazing desert station. Special mention is deserved by the wait staff who were attentive without being intrusive and very professional.

We had lunch here - an open sandwich each, quite expensive for what you got at €2.50 for a 6inch square piece of bread with some topping. We also had some lovely cake for dessert. I ordered a black tea and they brought Earl Grey,...More

Opposite the opera house. A lovely place for cakes and beautiful interior. We chose to sit outside in the tranquil courtyard and were so glad to get away from the crowds. A big choice of delicious cakes and the service was friendly and efficient.

You can have cake and coffee any time, even during lunch. It's absolutely fine, the pastries are served all day long.
