I went there with my boyfriend for a nice dinner. The ambience is very cosy and the waiters are super nice, friendly and make you feel like home. We have started with an unconventional aperitif- a variation of Moscow mule- very special! And have ended with a creme brûlé with saffron taste and sesame seeds- amazing, accompanied by a very... THe food , deserts, and wine list exceptional. All the food is extremely fresh. Tables are very close together, but this is an intimate romantic atmosphere. just a tip there are many cobblestone streets, so make sure you are wearing why heel shoes. THis was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Vienna -

Good food from biological local produce (whenever possible), made and served with pleasure. Nice location in an old vault in a backstreet. Easy walking distance from public transport (you'd better, no parking)

First night in Vienna in 40 years - that sounds old... Anyhow, Trip Advisor had good reviews and it was close. We arrived without reservations but we were seated right away. It became busy and I think calling ahead is a good idea. My wife had a started of beef soup and I had some raviolis for starters. We both... More

We are now into day 6 of our trip to Austria and we tried this restaurant on day 2. It is hands down the best meal we have had so far. We managed to get a table for dinner straightaway despite not having a reservation which we were grateful for. The restaurant was at pretty much maximum capacity and we... More

Had dinner here one night. Ambiance is nice even though tables are a bit close together. It's a bit of a meat-heavy menu so be aware if that is not your thing. Schnitzel was well-cooked (it's a pretty large portion!). Cow cheeks were tender. Service was good.

Delicious from the start. Wonderful fresh bread with two types of butter. The server helped us select a bottle of wine and brought us samples to try. We started with the burrata on beet root carpaccio, which was delicious and beautifully presented. My mom had the linguini with prawns and I had the beef with chocolate chili sauce. We both... More

Great Food and ambience Have just eaten here and the whole experience was extremely good. Waiters were attentive but not in your face. Food was hot where applicable, served looking very good and taste was excellent. It was busy but did not feel rushed.
