We showed up without a reservation but were seated promptly, although the place was as busy as it gets. The schnitzel, boiled beef and potato salad were delicious. Service was amazing. Wonderful, comfy ambiance.

The place inside is much larger than it looks, with many adjoining rooms. Went there for lunch thinking that we might want to walk off some extra calories in the afternoon. We were not disappointed. The Schnitzels are huge, literally spilling over the edge of...the plate. At the same time texture, temperature, breading consistency and tenderness were absolutely perfect. The "Vogerlsalat" is the best side dish, and they give you a generous slice of lemon and "preiselbeer" to last through the meal. A beer is the best "go to" accompaniment. Definitely on our "must do" list for every Vienna visit from now on.More

Very big, thin and very dry meat. Absolutely nothing charming about this. Miniature size of boring potatoes. 1 piece of lemon. Thats it! No sauce, no nothing. Its the worst case og tourist trap i ever met. Dont go there, please. I heard, they shut...down due to Corona.... I Hope, they never open again.More

This is definitely the place to taste the world famous schnitzel. They serve a variety of schnitzels for those who do not eat pig. Delicious potato salad. It’s worth waiting the loooooong que to have a table.

We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst strolling through the streets of the old town. The schnitzel is absolutely the best – light and crispy coating with tender moist veal inside. It is served with potato salad and other salad. It is a well-known restaurant, but...the quality of its Wiener Schnitzel is exceptional. English is not widely spoken. A word of warning: the portion is HUGE!! If one of you has a smaller appetite, just order one!More

I've had no problems just walking in off the street and landing a table so unless there is a major convention or sizeable event being held in Vienna then you should not experience any problems. Waiters are top notch and... More
