We had a lovely time eating excellent fish and seafood. Great octopus salad, sword fish carpaccio, tuna tartare. The pasta with truffles as well as the black Risotto with squid were lovely. Fish is the best option for main course but there is decent steak available as well. Competent and polite service team make the evening really enjoyable. The place... More

Place was recommended to us. Overall I would give it marginal marks in every category. It is overly noisy to the point of being annoying. They need to do some work on the acoustics in the room. Wait staff and kitchen are disorganized. For example we ordered salads and mains - both were brought out at the same time and... More

We have been recommended by our concierge and we were not disappointed. Fish and seafood was fresh, service was attentive, wine was amazing, dessert though needs improvement & the food in Austria in general tends to be more expensive in comparison to many other cities/countries.

Our concierge recommended this establishment to us with the above comment. When we arrived and throughout the Friday night meal, the place was only half full. I think that says it all. While the fish is fresh and there is a relatively broad list of offerings, the kitchen is unimaginative and the preparation is decidedly old world. Some will like... More

Very good food. Adequate service. The bill came in they refused to split the check although six of us were eating. They refused to split the check. I would not return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Kornat. Not only was the service amazing but the food was extremely delicious. I strongly suggest the Seabass for two. It was tender and juicy and I have to say the best Seabass I have ever had in my life. We would definitely go back again. Strongly suggest this restaurant.

The food was great but check the bill they tried to take covert (i.e. tip for bread) plus they added to the bill 10 percent tip.

On a recent visit to Vienna, we ate here twice...it's that good. The fish - quality (think fresh! - as is often the case in Croatia, and since their roots are Croatian, they bring the whole fish to the table to get your approval prior to cooking), preparation and presentation - is outstanding. When ordering for two, they give choices for... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
