The best Japanese restaurant in Vienna. You need reservation in advance! After Tenmaya closed couple years ago, this is for me the best Japanese restaurant. The taste is good and like in japan. The prices are not cheap but ok for the quality. 和食はおいしかったでした。

The Restaurant is lead by a Japanese Chef, who was in charge of the famous Unkai restaurant before, and his Austrian wife. I have been in Japan last year, and can absolutely confirm, that this place is absolutely authentic with highest quality dishes. Everything is...More

Afforadble prices for a truelly japanese restaurant in Vienna: Authentic and very nicely styled set dinners. They offer separate rooms for bigger parties. Stuff is efficient and polite. An excellent choice for authentic japanese food and drinks.

The sashimi was kind of disappointing, if you're looking for a good sashimi/sushi-restaurant in Vienna, I would recommend "Nihonbashi" in the first District. The other dishes of my menu were all excellent though. Everything is a bit expensive there, but comparable Japanese restaurants in Vienna...More

We visited Sakai for a Sunday brunch. The place is nice and clean. We were seated as we arrived. The buffer costs 29 euro and includes about 10 -15types of sushi (salmon, tuna, octopus, shrimp, smoked makrel, tuna, spicy maki etc) and maki, baked oysters...More

The eighth district is an older generation’s Vienna at
its finest: and this is what makes it popular with
locals of all ages. Josefstadt has theatre, small
independent shops, romantic passageways, neighbourhood
cafés with regular clientele, church squares, town
palaces and shady communal gardens. Trendy hangouts
