The service almost sent me to the hospital. Avoid!!! When the waiter was clearing my table he drop a spoon into my plate causing the spicy sauce to splash in my face. It got into my eye and started burning like crazy. I rushed to the bathroom and tried to wash my eye out. Long story short... My eye is... More

We were craving some Indian food as we had not had Indian food for a long time. We greatly enjoyed the food. The paneer butter masala and paneer tikka masala was fantastic. We had roti, subzi, dal and biryani and all of it was fantastic. Overall I would recommend Kohinoor as a place to have good Indian food.

Great food in a well established Indian restaurant in the centre of the town. Booked via the concierge in our hotel who said it was the best Indian restaurant in the town. We were not disappointed. The service was attentive and the food well above average. Highly recommended

Greatly enjoyed our visit. We had excellent service, they explained how dishes are prepared so we were able to ask for "Indian spicy" rather than "Austrian spicy". At that setting the taste was 'authentic' . End result is we enjoyed the food, service and thought it was good value. The presence of a hands on owner is very evident and... More

The food was good but not authentic to my opinion - everything was a little too sweet and not spicy enough. The service was very good. Prices are on the high side for an Indian restaurant (also at lunch).

We had an excellent authentic Indian vegetarian dinner at this place. Food was great and the service led by Mr.Lalit and his team deserves great appreciation. Please do visit this place if you are in Vienna and looking for some good Indian vegetarian food.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
