I could say there are for sure better places...Wanted to try it only because its "famous" but at the end it's nothing special!! Probably for fresh dessert you should visit it in the morning...as i came at 17:00 and try the dessert I really can't say I enjoyed it...the service was poor...

Avoid the one opposite the State Opera like the plague. Easily the worst service in Vienna. People at our table were openly insulted by the waiter. Go anywhere else! Aida on Wiedner Hauptstrasse is nice...

Este lugar es una experiencia retro, desde el menú hasta el mobiliario pasando por los uniformes son totalmente vintage. Es principalmente un café pero puedes hacer una comida ligera que no decepciona, aunque lo principal claro son los postres. This place is a retro experience, from the menu to the furnishings going through the uniforms they are all vintage. It... More

We stopped here for a cup of coffee and to try a little dessert. This place was very busy so we chose to wait for a table as everything looked quite appealing. Service was okay, I noticed that there were a lot of tables with plates and cups on them that hadn't been cleaned which resulted in longer waiting times.... More

It's certainly very pink - walls, tables, waitresses... Coffee and cake were both good, very busy when we went but service was still good. Make sure you use the bathroom before paying as you have to pay but get the money off your bill.

This cafe was just around the corner from my hotel, so I went to have afternoon cake there. Being a chestnut season, they had a selection of chestnut specials, in addition to their regular menu. So I opted out for mont-blanc, with chestnut cream, ground chestnut, with small pieces of sponge cake nested underneath. With a cup of latte, the... More

I usually love little coffee shops like this one, which is why I went in, but can't say I liked the offerings and/or the service. There's much nicer ones in Vienna.

The best coffee in my opinion. The cakes and desserts are light and nice and not over sweet.Very good selection of hot food.the Saccher Torte is to die for and a must recommended.

We stopped off on a very cold day for some coffee, hot cocoa and pastries. We tried several cakes and enjoyed them all. The waitresses are dressed in pink and the waiters have a huge white chefs hat

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
