We came here as we had walked past it the previous night thinking that it looked like a great future venue. The restaurant was clean and the waitor who welcomed us was very nice, chatty and charming. We were served by another waitor who was not so nice as the first waitor. Drink order was taken but wasnt served correctly... More

Good Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff. Shared two main dishes - pasta and pizza. They brought the pasta first on two plates and then the pizza on two plates.

If you want fresh food, service with a smile then this is probably not the place. To be fair I would say this was aimed at tourists like us rather than repeat customers so they are not worried about good service. The restaurant was empty which should have been a warning sign. We tried the arrabiata which was edible. I... More

Both pizza and pasta dishes were very tasty. I felt my pizza toppings were very generous and I liked the little touches like the fresh basil on the top. Dessert was especially delicious. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly. Especially to the kids. He was funny and really attentive. Although the food was good, it was the service that really made... More

Stopped here for a beer one afternoon, and whilst I was there I decided to stay and have a pizza. I was informed that pizzas were not available until after 6pm, so this is worth remembering if you plan to visit. As I did not fancy anything else I went elsewhere to eat that evening. However, this did not put... More

We had a great meal here - pizza, rizotto, pasta - all real Italian made. Service was good and even some shouts in Italian...

Recommended by a local (poor man... he was on his bike, stopping for a traffic light; instead of crossing the street, we stopped him for a 'chat' asking where we should go for dinner which isn't (too) touristy).... Tricolori is located in the Ring - nice view of trees, pedestrian pathways, cars, bikes, seating areas are tucked in a quiet... More

A nicer, cleaner, more modern styled restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza seemed most popular with people and we tried a couple too. They were good, but a little heavy on the cheese....so if you don't like a lot of cheese, ask for half the amount. Service was ok. Not all credit cards accepted.

Popped in for a pizza after sightseeing. Waiter lets you peruse menu while getting your drinks and then informs you pizza not available until 6 pm! Other patrons left in a huff over this beside us but we made another selection. After waiting for close to an hour for my husband's lasagne to arrive the waiter claimed he didn't understand... More

We were looking for somewhere for lunch whilst out sightseeing. The accommodated our party of 7 easily and the staff were very friendly . The pizza and pasta we ordered cam quickly and was very tartly aspen reasonably priced. The chef, who I think may be the owner also help served and mad sure everything was alright. Happy yo recommend.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
