Located on the busy street of Neubau, reasonable quality food with many different kind of salads and main courses to chose from, good vegeterian and vegan selection too. The staff is at best indifferent and on a bad day plain rude. We stopped eating there and go instead to Naturkost St. Joseph around the corner.

I eat a lot of salad. I seriously struggled in Austria to find fresh non-stodgy food. Maybe I just wasn't looking in the right places? Anyway, when I found this place I was so happy! I opted for the big salad lunch! Wow! 6 different types of salad... Greek, cabbage, pasta, rice, falafel. So good! I ate everything! My plate... More

Reformhaus Buchmüller offers great lunch options, but the service is forbiddingly rude. The staff seems to be incomprehensibly frustrated, neither greets nor smiles. If the food wasn't that good, I wouldn't bear to cope with this way of unfriendliness.

The restaurant is actually no restaurant, just a food counter in bio-shop in Neubaugasse's best neighborhood. The food is simply delecious, every portion comes with the salad of your choice, the staff is nice and smiling. We used to take away our lunches as we live practically next door. Hugely recommended if you happen to be in this area.

Thank Oleg L

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
