Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cosy place to eat with lots of vegetarian options. Service was varied our drinks came out very fast but the food took a little longer. I ordered the crispy falafel bowl and it was delicious, my suggestion would be to get the dressing on the...side though!More

I went there with my teenage daughter who had the Sweet potatoe tofu bowl. First of all, even the 5 or 6 pieces of fried sweet potatoes on top of the bowl were cold and tasted terrible, the chickpeas had a funny sour taste, and...to make things really disgusting, she found a human hair in the food. I informed the waiter who did not really want to listen to what I had to say but instead kept interrupting me offering to change the dish for another but we were already so disgusted we just wanted to leave. At least he did not charge me for the bowl but neither did he want to consider my recommendation that the kitchen staff wear hairnets what in fact in Austria is a sanitary requirement in restaurant kitchens. We will definitely NEVER again eat there!More

I've heard so much of this place and had quite some expectations but to be honest, our visit was a disaster. We had to wait over an hour for our food, half of the order was then forgotten and did not make it to our...table at all. The drink order got mixed up and I ended up with a tea I really didn't like but felt like I had to drink it anyway as the waiter insisted that I had ordered wrong. We it was time for the bill, we had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to arrive with the check. We had a lot of shopping bags with us and one was left behind accidentally. When we returned to the restaurant just a few minutes after paying and having left, the bag including all content was gone. I had high expectations but neither the food, nor the service was convincing. Not intending to return.More

One of us had a daily menu with soup and main course, the other picked from the menu. Delicious food with some oriental touch. We spent perfect 45 minutes here.

Stumbled across this eatery, which is in a lively area between the Westbahnhof and the museum district. The menu has a very broad choice of vegetarian/vegan options (with much more on offer than simply falafel); the mixed meze platter has many different elements and makes...a very filling lunch for one person. The crunchy dumplings in particular were very enjoyable. Service was quick and the place is clearly very popular.More

My wife is a big fan of Falafel and we tried Falafel almost in every single trip we had together (worth to say that we are originally from the land of Falafel, so we're experts). We were looking for Falafel in our last trip to...Vienna and we found that. Maschu Maschu offers a super satisfying Falafel in town and also the waitress was super friendly. If you're a fan of Falafel, don't miss it. just two negative points: 1. Wifi not available 2. It's not that clean (and I believe it's exactly the reason why it's so delicious :D)More

We decided to try this purely because the previous night it was packed when we passed and fancied something different. We were waited on by Tero who was very helpful. Highly recommend the Maschiu special. Good food and reasonable prices.

This place offers a variety of sandwiches primarily falafels, shawarma etc. We ordered the falafels. They were good without being outstanding. The service was again not bad. They have a patio setting which makes it more appealing for tourists.

While I was waiting for my better half to do her shopping, I was feeling hungry and decided to try falafel in Vienna. And it was excellent, so we came back the other day for more falafel and chicken shawarma. The dips that come with...food are great (if you get them or you took it by yourself, because the waiters are awful!). Recommend the food, it is worth withstand the staff.More

I was alright when I stayed in Vienna. No such a thing like altitude sickness. 😛
