This cafe is located a short walk from St Stephens. It sits unassumingly amongst high street fashion shops with their bright window displays. Staff, both in the ground floor cake shop and in the first floor cafe dress in period costume. The cakes and pastries...More

The food and drinks we had were delicious, but they could get a training on friendliness. Or just learn to smile... :)

Simply delightful cafe with delicious cakes, great coffee and relaxed ambience. It's on the main Street just 3 mins from the cathedral. Try the walnut cake! Recommended

Most of the cafes in Vienna advertise famous cakes and many of them are quite attractive. Unfortunately, the taste does not always live up to the billing. At Heiner, we were pleasantly surprised by cakes pleasing to the eye and the taste buds.

We rarely visit Vienna without visiting Heiner, this time it was for breakfast in the upstairs restaurant. A choice of different breakfasts or a la carte, the severe looking but friendly waitresses in their dirndls and the frieze on the building opposite that shows, I...More
