In the middle of the Hofburg there is the lovely cafe, and the food is excellent. Despite being in the middle of a literal palace the prices are certainly reasonable as well.

Stopped here after a visit to the Imperial Tresury. Good location and good coffee. Their apple strudel is from the Royal Bakery, which is the best we've ever had anywhere. It's worth a visit just for that!

Great location in the middle of Hofburg. The staff is nice, helpful and speak very good English. The food was also very tasty and very Austrian. Go for Rindgulash, it is worth it.
