The restaurant is located on a great cellar, interesting and full of life despite the fact that it was probably 34C with neither AC nor fans while in a hot weave in Vienna. We were right next to the kitchens (we didnt have a reservation...More

We came here with friends for an early dinner (around 5pm on a Sunday), where there were very few customers. The service was truly excellent, our waiter (Manuel) was very friendly and gave good advice; our food came very quickly, and was so tasty that...More

My husband had visited Vienna in the winter of 1989 & had great memories of a sprawling, catacomb-like, underground restaurant with domed ceilings, he had no idea of the name but recalled it was near St Stephens Cathedral. 27 years later we are in Vienna...More

After a tiring city walk, this resto should be a last stop to have a Vienna authentic food experience.

Restaurant Zwolf Apostelkeller is a extraordinary place worth visiting. The dinner was average. On the other hand, the surroundings were great.

The restaurant is in a very nice location, it is also popular, but we could get a seat without booking. It has a great charm, but the staff is not the nicest. The food was good and the prices are friendly.

Old University Quarter
North of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna suddenly
turns small, winding and medieval, opening up to
legendary places such as the Basilisk sculpture at
Schönlaterngasse, as well as glamorous baroque
façades, courtyards and churches. Take 45 minutes for
a casual stroll through Bäckerstrasse,
Sonnenfelsgasse, Köllnerhofgasse, Grashofgasse, and
Schönlaterngasse. This quarter is packed with stories
