A Beisl is a restaurant that serves good "plain" Austrian food. Not fancy, but authentic food for the "everyman" (or woman). This place is exactly that . The found is scrumptious and portions very generous. The schnitzel is wonderful as is the Taffelspitz (traditional boiled...More

We went over the new year period when it was very busy. They asked if we would mind sharing a table for 4 with another couple and we joined a young Italian couple and had a good chat. The food is typically Austrian and I...More

Quick service, solid tasty food and a good place for a decent inexpensive meal. It is noisy but you can hear yourself think. A good dinner

Good atmosphere. The goulash was delicious and the schnitzel so tasty. We went there two times in two days. Highly recommended.

Really tucked away in a highly tourist area, this restaurant offers amazing, authentic Austrian food. I loved the meal here. Definitely try the goulash and schnitzel, both were amazing. Service is typical Austrian, not overly gushingly-friendly, not off-putting. Efficient and gets the job done. Prices...More

This is a decent restaurant with a great "soup of the day". This is a vegetables soup. I do recommend this one. The sausages are not really great, no matter the dish.

Went to this place a number of times in 5 day visit. Food and drink good. Great atmosphere for a city centre pub surrounded by designer shops. Reasonable prices. They are very strict about closing on time. One of the waitresses got our order wrong...More

We ate here twice both times we were not disappointed. Wonderful food, great service and authentic surrounding. Used mostly by locals possibly off the tourist trail and all the better for it. Great schnitzel and pancakes with sour curd to die for. Recommended!

I would definitely make a reservation for larger party. I'm sure they will be busy on Sunday evening. You will enjoy the experience!
