The staff were friendly and very accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Both my husband and I ate there 2 nights out of the 3 we stayed in Vienna. There is a dish to suit anyone. Risotto was amazing!!! Highly recommend.

The owner, Hans, is taking care more or less of every single guest. The food is awesome and the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located in the very special "Servitenviertel", with it's beautiful buildings from the turn of the century.

Typical Viennese cuisine with a creative touch. Friendly service (not a surprise in Vienna), limited selection but first class service. The tables are rather close to each other, leaving not much intimacy.

We had a wonderful meal here. Service great, menu small, but very nice. Something to suit all. Very reasonably priced.

It's a fancy place, but overpriced for what is worth. Breakfast was not good and super expensive. The service is good, the place is nice, but the food was not particularly brilliant and I wish we didn't order - almost felt sick after the eggs. Overall waste of money

only been there for breakfast, but we repeated the visit 3 times. Haven't tried lunch or dinner. For breakfast I recommend it if you're in the area and want something a little different but still very nourishing.

Treatment is not a must in Vienna. Viennese people tend to think you have to know things, even though you do not speak German. On the day we visited the Porzellan, it rained a lot. We were soaking wet and it was almost lunch hour but quite yet. We were coming back from the Freud Museum where I had a... More

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
