What a beautiful restaurant. We walked past it by accident. The court yard is so beautiful and the food was so yummy. Highly recommend this place. Whenever we go back to Vienna we will be back

A delicious rare rump steak seasoned with a cold white beer was the formula for a delicious dinner finished with an espresso :)

Four of us had four different dishes, each one exquisitely prepared (Cordon Bleu, calf's liver, pork loin and asparagus filled ravioli) all served by a professional waiter! The apricot dumplings were the best we had ever had! Thank you, Waldviertlerhof! We'll be back soon...

The menu is large and has some excellent choices. In the summer, a reservation necessary. Garden crowded and LOUD. Waiters generally good, but some have an attitude. Will not go again in summer.

Fantastic matching of tastes, big but cosy garden at the back. Impression that the staff doesn't like tourists (ordering in English) but as soon a I switched to German, the attitude changed from bored to friendly

This former working class district blends hip eateries
and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s

Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local
icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its
brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby
urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses
several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its
