We loved the fact that all the staff appears to be from Australia or at least communication with guest happens in english. Great beer and great value for money but you have to come early evening during the week in order to get a place. A small area has been put up outside which is great during spring and summer... More

Scotland were playing Italy at Murrayfield, and we couldn't find an Irish pub to watch the match. The flint-tough barman showed us to a perfect table, and switched the TVs to rugby from the Austrian football diet. We were surrounded by Austrians who drank, chatted, smoked and chomped. We could focus on the rugby in perfect isolation. And Scotland won... More

Just of main street in Vienna, only stocks Australian alcohol, so not to everyone's taste. Does food as well, including Kangaroo Steaks and Burgers, Grilled Grasshoppers and Crocodile tail.

I have been to this place on several occasions (with business partners and with friends) and it was always good. Great food and beer, staff was always nice and attentive. Very recommendable for a business dinner. The location is great. I love this place 😊

Nice to find Australian food in Austria.. Friendly pub (where smoking is allowed) with restaurant in the basement. Of course I ate a tasty kangaroo meat and a cake. At the end of dinner I asked for a Jagermeister and they did not give me a glass but a 2cl mini bottle

When the dates for our Vienna stay were firm, my husband did some research to find a place that would be celebrating Halloween. This pub was definitely the place to be. We arrived a bit early and were directed downstairs where we settled in. Before long the costumed revelers began to arrive and the party began. They even had a... More

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Jason not friendly and could do with going on a customer service course. He would not encourage you to return. Good atmosphere for food and drink. Central location.

Vienna is different!

With an Australian culinary outpost located in the heart of the city. Go down into the world of down under - we serve exotic titbits such as tender ostrich and kangaroo steaks or fried grasshoppers in the middle of an Australian opal mine. Here you can also have the juiciest burgers and beefsteaks. Along with the meals, we also serve a superior selection of Australian wines and great Aussie beers including Fosters, Ayers Rock Red, VB, James Boags, Coopers to name but a few.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
