Well seated, well served and handled by professionals. The sacher torte was just excellent and the Wiener Eiskaffee delicious. Definitely a place to return.

Dear Sacher, During our trip around Vienna, we decided to visit the well-known restaurant / cafe Sacher Eck. For some reason, this day the staff had a different approach for some visitors - this approach applied to us. We were seated and expected to be...approached by the staff what we wanted. Unfortunately, even though we were earlier than the other guests (who were served immediately), we still had to wait for the staff to notice us and contact us. In the end, we had to contact the staff ourselves and order a meal! We honestly did not expect such an approach and we are very disappointed. Greatings Peter TodorovMore

The overall service and atmosphere was nice, but I was disappointed by the size of the slice of sacher cake that I had and also the hot chocolate for the price. For it to be the place of the origin of sacher, I’ve had better...sacher cakes in other cafes outside of Vienna and Austria. I wouldn’t pay the money for that ever again.More

If you are in Vienna, you have to stop by the Sacher Eck, even though I did not have the experience I was hoping for, I would still recommend it. The staff is super friendly, they really go well and beyond to make you feel...welcomed. The reason for 3 stars is because I made a reservation two days in advance asking for a table close to the window. I know sometimes it is not possible, but I saw other people who received better tables and it looked like they had made no reservations. I travel alone a lot, and I am used to be sitting by myself all the time, no problem, but I was given a table for four in the middle of the place! ;) I enjoyed my cake and coffee and left, I wish I had had a table next to the window, I may have ordered a second coffee. They did not look at the reservation, I had made a reservation for ONE and they asked me how many people I was expecting. I also ordered sparking water and received still. Still you should visit and it is a lovely place.More

I live in Vienna and I went there with my daughter! We sat outside on the terrace and there ware about 6 tables occupied and 2 waiters. It took about 15 min before they even came to get the order, than we had to wait...about the same to get a piece of cake and a coffee. And also to get the bill was a long wait. Besides that, the table was very small and not stable and the umbrellas very dirty . Not at all up to the level where this place should be!!! DisappointingMore

The cafe was very nicely decorated and looked super cozy. The staff seemed a bit ignorant, and to be honest the cake was only ok. It was a bit dry. Probably won’t go back again, it was a decent experience, nothing grand or great.
