Went here 3 times during our stay as our accommodation was nearby. Compared to all the other wurst stands off graben or shopping streets, this one was filled with locals (cab drivers lined up is a good sign) as it's away from the busy touristy corners. Loved the kasekrainer!

These hotdog stands are a standout. Open seemingly all hours, well-frequented, fast service, eat there or takeaway, good range of drinks, but most important they provide an excellent tasty product with a choice of mustards and sauces. A must-see and must-do in Vienna. A quick lunch or a late night snack.

Regardless you love sausages or just want to try some because you are in Vienna, this is the place I highly recommend. The sausages quality and variety selection are both excellent. The picky eaters in my family are still talking about this place months later; that is high praise. There is a supermarket near by. Grab some fruits and drinks... More

Not sure why this place is not rated more highly on TripAdvisor. On my recent trip to Vienna, I had sausages (mostly Käsekrainer) in several places and this one was the tastiest for sure. Prices quite good too.

According to my Viennese family and friends, this is 'the most famous Wurstelstand in Vienna.' I'm not sure what 'most famous' means in this context, but the Käseleberkäse, Käsekrainer, and Wurstel are always delicious! Highly recommend.

Vienna is not a cheap city, and food can be pretty expensive. That's why it's great to have Wurst stands scattered in the city, and they are very delicious places to stop for a quick bite to eat. It was cold and rainy most of the time we were in Vienna, and the Wurstelstand am Hohen Markt was the perfect... More

We got a couple of sausages in the middle of the day during our own walk-around tour to just keep us going until a big meal in the evening. It was actually much better than we expected and we really enjoyed it. we will surely visit again if we are around in Vienna.

Small and typical take-away food offer, but you can eat also standing beside the Kiosk. We have looked for a typical Würstelstand, and Wiener Wurst for breakfast. The place met our expectation. The food is simple but it is very good, the price is reasonable. They offer about 6 different Wurst, my favourite was the Käsekrainer. I would definitely go... More

We always try to eat some "street food" when traveling and this place was recommended. I can't complain. We each got a brat and a soft drink. We were served very quickly and the food was good. You eat standing up around the kiosk, so you can look in and see that it looked very clean and organized. If I'm... More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
