Last night my friend and me had dinner at at eight for the Gourmet weeks. Service was good. Atmosphere was okay. The Gourmet week dishes were bigger than expected, however, some dishes missed the taste. The desert was delicious! All in all it was good, however, we expected it to be fabulous.

Food was good, not great. Service was extremely slow. Did not bring all entrees at the same time, even though the 'late' one was the same as one that had been served. Repeatedly told us they were bringing gluten-free bread and then 45 minutes later, explained they didn't have any.

The food was less than so so ... boring actually ... and small ... and expensive ... and it took long time to get to the table. The drinks were tiny yet expensive too. I asked why my whisky was so small. They said their drinks were 2 cl. But the European standard is 4 cl. And they charged 12... More

Dear James O, with deepest regrets I am reading your feedback here on TripAdvisor. I am very sorry for the unpleasent experience, but given the fact that your visit has been in September 2016, it will be a bit hard for me to investigate, what went wrong from our side. We were two couples and had dinner here, as we were 'walked out' by sightseeing the whole day. The two men had steaks and they were very happy with their meal. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The 'taster' from the kitchen was incredible! The restaurant provided gluten free bread for my friend, so do ask! I had the... More

This place gets lots of great reviews on TripAdvisor, but was unable to discern why. Not that it's bad. It's not. But I expected more. Had the beef tartare as a starter, and it was fine but not nearly the best I've had. Then the beef goulash with spaetzle. Again, good, but not super. And the apple strudel dessert, just... More

My wife and I enjoyed a Saturday night dinner. We had a corner table which afforded us a great view out at the theatre goers and the local trams. We opted for the a la carte menu rather than the fixed menu. We enjoyed the amuse bouche of chestnut, mushroom and shallot. My favorite course was the pumpkin soup which... More

The ambience was disappointing though in fairness, we were the only customers in the restaurant at 18.00hr mid-week for a pre-opera dinner. The pumpkin soup was excellent but the wiener schnitzel with a potato salad lacked both taste and finesse. Dessert was an altogether forgettable apple strudel mille feuille. The only redeeming feature was the price of the meal.

After a concert at Muziekverein we tried this restaurant. Although it was late, they set a table for us. Food was excellent, matching with local wine, staff was friendly, speaks English. Cepe mushrooms was a great starter. Guinea fowl with melanzane was excellent. Melanzane in particular were out of this world. No dessert. Beware this is fine cuisine so do... More

Welcome to a culinary adventure!
Welcome to the casual-luxurious presentation of the so-called "aroma cuisine". Delicious, unforgettable and twice toque-decorated!

The young chef de cuisine Alexander Kristen plays with textures and aromas. He conjures fascinating combinations with various spices, fresh local and exotic herbs as well as essential oils. His dishes are made of high quality products, which harmonize perfectly, and of course they are presented in an extraordinary way. This applies also to gluten, lactose, fructose and histamine free dishes.

The service is cordial, personal, professional, and absolutely inconspicuous. And always caring for the guest's well-being! With pleasure the wine accompaniment is adjusted for each guest individually. The service team is young, as specific focus lies on the support of young talents.

During the day the restaurant radiates freshness and clarity for breakfast und lunch. In the evening a colour world of red and violet creates an entirely different atmosphere: At 3 p.M. The restaurant is getting changed. Subconsequently it welcomes its guests in a top smart evening dress: with covers for chairs, table cloth for the tables, "earrings" for the lighting fittings, curtains for the windows, mirrors for the walls, candles and decoration for the final touch a romantic mood and a perfect atmosphere for a sublime dinner is created.
