Nice outdoor place in the Augarten park.

This is a nice place to stop for a drink when visiting the Augarten park. The service was very friendly, prices still ok for Vienna standards.

Perfect for a relaxing evening

Bunkerei is located directly in the "Augarten" and is the perfect place for warm summer evenings. They offer a lot of different drinks and besides some snacks like "Hummus" also some main dishes. The negative point was that it was very crowed and we had...to wait very long for the waiters.More

Nice Atmosphere

A great place to have a drink or light meal in the Augarten. We had a party of six with a few kids and asked if we should just take a table and the waitress said yes. We took a few chairs (only four-tops in...this place) to accommodate everyone and then got scolded by the waitress. Someone at the next table gave her a stern lecture and told us that it wasn't our problem, but hers. Anyway, after that, the waitress was great. Food better than expected, although it is on the casual side. Curry hummus was interesting. Despite the hiccup at the beginning, we had a great time.More

Beautiful and very friendly

Bunkerei is in absolutely beautiful location. We ate outside right next to the bunker and had a beautiful view of the park and of the street behind us. The servers were very friendly and explained to us in English some of the menu items we...couldn't figure out in German. They even have a lot of vegetarian choices! Their outside seating offers plenty of shade and a nice relaxing atmosphere. The food was AMAZING and so were the drinks! I highly recommend Bunkerei if you're in the area. (And even if you're not!) The only downside we experienced was mosquitos, but that can easily be avoided.More

A Nice Surprise

We were tired after a day of sightseeing and stopped by to have a refreshing drink when we decided to order food. We had a variety of dishes but my Wiener Saftgulasch vom Rind (Viennese beef goulash) was excellent. The service was fine, a very...busy day for the staff and our server was very pleasant.More

Nice relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful barocque park

A great place for a relaxed meal after a stroll through beautiful Augarten, good food and nice drinks. Lots of families.

Greatest Place for A Summer Snack

In the summer, when the Augarten is crowded and full of life, this place is close to paradise. Once can sit outside, sip a soda citron or a beer, and snack on the adequate Wiener Küche dishes. Sometimes they slip in some good pasta options...and other delights. Worth a visit.More

Great Place to Stay Awhile

Located in Augarten, the Bunkerei has mostly outdoor seating which provides an excellent venue for resting after exploring the Augarten or surrounding area. Have been here twice so far and each time could have stayed longer. Lots of dogs present. Service is friendly though on...occasion slow. Well-rounded menu. Brot is particularly good.More
