It wasn't exactly easy to find something to eat on a Sunday evening so I came across this café again. Instead of dessert, this time, I came for hot food. Waitress was helpful in recommending the onion beef which on the menu it says is roast beef and roast potatoes. However, it turned out to be a pan fried beef... More

Would not recommend this place! We expected a classy Viennese cafe but what we got was pretentious instead. We had possibly the rudest waitress I've ever encountered. I'm not sure why she works in hospitality if she looks like she could kill a customer any minute. The cake and coffee was nice but the entire experience was uncomfortable given the... More

I like the venue and the staff were really friendly and explained what every cake was and waited patiently whilst I made my choice. Chose the apple strudel. Little too sweet for me. The chai tea was great though. My partners cake was tasty though

This place was an adorable Viennese cafe that had yummy treats. The apple strudel and apricot crumble cake were delightful! I would also highly recommend the Indian chai.

After a full days sightseeing we were in need of a decent cup of tea. As we had only arrived the day before, we'd not had a chance to consult trip advisor for recommendations. We were on the Fleischmarkt and thought it looked cosy so decided to give it a try. We can only agree with Trip Advisor that his... More

After visiting the same cafe on the street Fleischmarkt, we decided to continue our acquaint with the dishes that offers this net of cafes, and they also had the "dish of the day", which includes the choice of one hot dish and a dessert. For the hot dish we ordered the fish. It was brought quickly, the fish was delicious.... More

There are two coffee shops with the same name in Vienna. This is the one on Fleischmarkt a few minute's walk from Sephansplatz in the centre of the old city. It is everything a coffee shop should be, comfortable, welcoming and unpretentious, serving excellent coffee, light lunches and the most amazing home made cakes and patisserie. We went in for... In my experience getting good coffee in Vienna (and Austria in general) is quite ... challenging. So it was a lovely surprise to get a very good cup of coffee in this very sweet and cozy cafe. The interior design is fantastic, the entire cafe has a lovely atmosphere. The waiters - both that I had conversation with - were... More

Nice welcome but once a waiter came to serve us he was unfriendly. We ordered apple strudel as Lonely Planet had raved about it, but the waiter said we both had to order drinks as it was the "minimum". I couldn't help but wonder if this was just a con as we were tourists. Strudel was nice but certainly wouldn't... More

I like to spend my time best when I am abroad. From all the good options for Cafe in Veinna it is a mistake to choose this place when you visit. The place is crowded and busy. The service is unfriendly and gives the feeling that you are a burden. The coffee itself, I had espresso, is fair, nothing more.... More

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
