Visited here not having researched where best to eat in Grinzing. We had wandered the quaint streets and had ended up here on a spur of the moment decision. Food was bland and basic on the line fare...wine was good (although 2 initial choices were...More

Grinzing is about 40 minutes outside Vienna by tram but worth a visit. It is a quaint village very different from modern, bustling Vienna. Landhaus has a beautiful garden for dining. The food took a while but it was worth it. My wife had roast...More

Found this by chance after getting off the Hop on Hop off bus tour. Lovely garden location. English menus available. Good choices. Have seen comments about slow service, but this was part of its charm for us. You don't feel rushed at all and can...More

Stopped here for a drink. A wonderful backgarden where we tried their heuriger. The waitress was absolutely charming.

HORRIBLE And Awfully slow service and food, took at least half an hour for the waiter to come over to take our order, didn't get anything for 20mins, need to reorder the drinks, another half an hour for drinks, got nearly all of our drink...More

States to be 900 years old, so surely this establishment is the oldest in Grinzing. It is a beautiful location and building with seemingly endless amount of tables outside and inside. The service is friendly. Unfortunately the food is not up to expectations and not...More

We found this place by accident one evening seeking and liked it. The tables are well spaced and comfortable and the service welcoming. despite its apparent formality it is actually very laid back - so laid back that when we went several items on the...More

In a very nice building - they say it is one of the oldest restaurant in Vienna and the oldest in Grinzing - there is an open garden - a beergarten- don't confuse with the past names of the restaurant

Went in on the off chance just for tea & cakes - my goodness - a fabulous place. Went upstairs - really quite amazing - heavily decorated ceilings etc - and quite luxurious. But then went up to the next floor - the restaurant -...More

Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most
romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its
many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby
Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls
through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of
a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are
Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns,
and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill –
