We enjoyed the apple and cherry strudels, although the size of them were so large, we easily could have shared one. The coffee and service were also wonderful here.

We should have been warned when we saw only two strudels and 2 cakes in the display when going up to the terrace. The view is nice up there but there is no atmosphere and no effort has been made to make this terrace appealing....More
This café is quite amazing! The service was excellent, very friendly (even family-friendly). Coffee was excellent, as usual in these Austrian places, and the strudel was second-to-none. Highly recommended.
Hard to find but take the effort. It is above the Tschibo coffee shop. They have great strudels and coffee. Try the melange (a typical Austrian coffee, like a cappuccino) and an apple strudel. it is now our preferred coffee place in Salzburg
We had planned at least one breakfast with trying the world famous apple strudel at an Austrian cafe and we had it at Cafe Wurfelzucker. The place is nice and cozy. The staff is friendly. The Strudels are great here
