Nice place with good food and reasonable prices. There's Austrian and Indian and Italian food presented in the menu. Im surprized it's so low rate on TA.

Zum Mohren served a good dinner at the end of a long day in Salzburg. The menu was large and was in english for a change. The large selection of mocktails and food menu made it a perfect choice for our family as everyone could have what they wanted. I would recommend the pizza in Zum Mohren

My family of 5 ate at this wonderful restaurant at about 8pm on a weekday. We were exhausted from a long day of touring and just looking for nice dinner. Initially, we were intimidated by the several different types of food the offered. From Indian to Austrian - how could it all be good? Well we put them to the... More

One of the few places that had menus in English and catered for a very fussy husband! It appeared people were in groups seemingly family celebrations, or just finished shopping trips, dressed for all occasions, very relaxed and chilled.Lovely atmosphere and pleasant not rushed at all, food was perfect as was the service-wished we had found it sooner and right in the... We had Wiener schnitzel, goulash and pig medallions. The Restaurant is built in parts of the historic town wall.

We spent five days in Salzburg and visited this restaurant every day. The restaurant was very well decorated and furnished beautifully. This is a three in one restaurant serving Austrian, Indian and Italian food. During our five visits we tried all the types of food available and every dish was excellent and very competitive prices. The owner and staff were... More

We stopped in for a late snack and drink, at approximately 10:30 pm. While we enjoyed our food, we left there with a bitter aftertaste. The bill came to 25.05€ and as it was our first night in Salzburg we only had a 50.00€ bill. No problem, (we thought) the restaurant was busy, had been opened for hours, change should... More

I've seen some of the less-than-flattering reviews of Zum Mohren, but this was not our experience at all. Perhaps because it was an early Sunday dinner on a very snowy day, but our experience of both the food and service was wonderful. My wife ordered pumpkin cream soup and fried chicken livers, while I ordered goulash soup and had the... More

Came to this place quite by accident, but some accidents are good :) The food was great, both taste-wise and price-wise. Plus then I got to read a little bit about the history of this place- that it used to be one of the favorites of Wolfgang Mozart and Franz Schubert. The ambiance will integrate you to Salzburg - musical.... More

We went into Zum Mohren because everywhere else was busy, food and service were ok. The biggest issue is the price of wine... 33euros for a bottle that costs 8.90euros in the supermarket up the road.
