Had the schweinerostbraten together with Knodel and sauerkraut. Good quality meat and a very large portion for a good price. Restaurant can be busy so best to reserve.

We barely got a table, but it was very cosy and the food was delicious. Fair prices. The staff could be a little nicer.

Everyone enjoyed there meal. The setting is everything you expect from a beer hall. The goose was well prepared - I recommend. My son liked the wienerschnitzel. My wife order one on the house special platers - beef fried onion, bacon wrapped beans. She recommends highly

Augustin is a small private brewery in Klagenfurt with attached a terrific restaurant, the "Bierhaus". The restaurant, in the heart of Klagenfurt, is a large complex, built round a cosy courtyard. Austrian dishes are served here, with a selection of terrific local beer. Service of the staff is quick and courteous, prices are reasonable. Despite the abundance of appealing restaurants... More

I selected this restaurant, as it was recommended as the best in the city. But it is really a beer house, all dishes is menu are mostly for beer, no good desserts at all. Good about the restaurant that there are many local citizens inside and it is quite popular in the city. Most locals constantly go there. Shnitsel is... More

This is really a good place to go! A menu with local and more mainstream dishes. Friendly and hard working staff that are there when you need them. Lamb dish was cooked perfectly and did match the bean/tomato combination. Himbeer Knödln is a good finisher that I haven't found elsewhere.

Lot's of nice local options. If you are not from Austria you probably need some help in translating and explaining the dishes, but then the food is really nice! Friendly staff and good beers!
