This is a rather late review but no less deserving. We visited between Christmas and New Year to find we were the only diners, not a surprise seeing as it was family season. We were broadly welcomed to a warm and cosy interior with the homemade macaroni drying near the stove. The family that run this restaurant were truly lovely... More

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very fresh. Genial host and extremely generous. We came with 4 kids, ages 2-6 and all enjoyed. Thank you and hope to see you again soon

We arrived off season, 8 adults & 4 children. They opened the place just for us, and cooked a huge all-fresh meal tailored to our requests (Jewish, Passover, vegetarian 😂). The host was extremely nice and made us feel like his family. Definitely recommend

We were looking for an authentic Cypriot meal, and we found it here! Having spent an amazing day at the waterpark in Fissouri, we were on our way home to Paralimni and had an urge to stop somewhere off the beaten track. Cafe Aman was superb from the moment we arrived, when our host welcomed us literally with open arms,... More

Visited this local village taverna recently, tremendous food, good service, the owners daughter even done some babysitting whilst we ate! Could not fault in any way and would recommend to anyone who wants good local produce, cooked well, with a good bit of banter to go with meal. PS Stavroulas macaroni is better than any pasta I have ever eaten... More

Whilst on holiday at Alethriko we visited many restaurants , but this was definitely my favourite. There was such a good variety of food and the staff were very friendly. All in all we had a great evening at very reasonable prices.

I have visited Cafe Aman many times, never been disappointed - this week proved still on form. The traditional village square taverna atmosphere is second to none. Good mix of Cypriot & non-Cypriots were present.

This taverna type café has an excellent setting. The beautiful village of Anafotia (not Anafodida, as signposted) presents a traditional backdrop to the experience. Andros and Stavroulla provide a warm welcome. There's an informal menu, as the variety and choices are endless. I recommend the meze, which provides ample quantity and quality to suit all tastes. Can cater for vegetarians... More

This is my fifth or sixth visit to Andreas and Stavrula's wonderful restaurant. It simply is the best in Cyprus for home cooked traditional Greek food. There is a lot of meat dishes but vegetarians won't be disappointed either. Every time I come to Cyprus I have to come to Cafe Aman. You have to try it!!
