Our Family has always loved the Chocolate House, and are used to bringing guests there. However our recent visits have been dissappointing. Yesterday we had our last visit there, and my 11 yr daughter said that out of 10 possible they would get 2. So...what went wrong !? First of all the staff was far from being polite. In fact so unpolite that my kids had a discussion about it. Second, the tables were not cleaned between guests. In Covid times, this is extremely important. We had to ask for this twice and the staff was obviously insulted. Third, the Covid regulations of 2 meters between customers was not in place. In fact they were putting together at the same table people that didn't come from the same household - and no 2 meters apart. So sad to say goodbye to this place, but we will not be spending money where better service and respect is offered.More

Fantastic breakfast, great choice and incredibly fresh croissants, this place is really great. Terrace just accross the palace of the grand duke of Luxembourg. We will be back.

If you are a cake lover, you definitely has to go here! We had a nice lunch; lentil salad with couscous and a pasta salad with chicken. Both very tasty. Good service too. We saw the cakes passing by, huge pieces in different flavours. It...really looked good! So if you are in the mood for chocolate, cake or a healthy lunch, this place serves it all.More

They have an enourmous drink selection (especially hot chocolates) which are very delicious, just like the cakes they serve. The location is excellent and the decoration in and outside is looking nice. However the staff is very unfriendly and close to rude. They don't give...you a welcoming feeling at all and serving takes a long time. Shame, they can do a better job!More

In front of the Duke palace drinking hot white chocolate with blueberries.. must visit! Service is helpful, they have explained the menu and what could be a good combination.

It is a lovely setting and nice delicious food to have lunch or breakfast. Delicious and beautiful cakes. The staff was very nice, but when we got inside to pay we were really shocked. The owner was sitting with his friends and not paying attention...to his guests, but was screaming to the staff. It was embarrassing and rude. He could rather help! The staff was doing their best to serve the people outside, but once inside it was a chaos. COVID-19 rules were not respected , because it was far too busy, and you are forced to stand next to people and people are just bump into eachother. It really felt uncomfortable also for the staff. Dear owners:Please stop yelling at them and help them in the crowd control and the health of your customers and staff. Selling a lot of chocolates is not the most important!More

We went here because there were vegan options. The place was really crowded, luckily everybody needs to wear masks inside in Luxemburg (I was here during Covid-19). I ordered the only vegan cake there was and it was really dry and hard! The chocolate was...nice but the cake was not nice. I didn't eat the whole cake because of it. My partner ordered the savory pancake which was nice. He also ordered a milkshake. The milkshake and the cake were both really sweet! Way too sweet! I ordered a homemade lemonade and that was way to sweet too. The waiter was really in a hurry so he could not give a good service. Over all experience was: Oké, not that impressive. I would not recommend it of come here again.More
