This café has a good central location and we have been often. The room upstairs can be very crowded and noisy, but this is the atmosphere that is expected. The quality of the food on the last occasion was fresh, the menu choices were good. The food we were served was tasty, perhaps slightly over-toasted sandwiches, but overall good. The... More

"Welcomed" by unfriendly staff running around like headless chicken although the place was empty. Toasted bread with toasted bread and toasted bread filling. Crispy bacon wanted. Very disappointed.

We went there because my wife always eats Éclairs from a nearby shop and I wanted to try a different one. We ordered one of each to compare. I got surprised by the price of the one from "La table du pain" as it was more than 60% more expensive than the other one !!! On the taste level, it... More

This place looks like it would be nice but we were unfortunately greeted by very rude staff. We took an empty table that didn't have a reserved sign (many others did have signs) and a few staff passed us by as we were sitting down. After a while one staff member came over and the gist of what he said... More

I have been going to this cafe for many years and the service and food has always been OK. But recently I had lunch with a friend, they have crammed too many tables in to a small noisy room, we were shoved in a corner and ignored for half an hour. We ordered the tomato soup and were served a... More

It was a struggle to find eggs and bacon in Luxembourg City on a late Sunday morning but we discovered the brunch here and were extremely happy with our find. They do a fixed brunch menu for €16.50 which includes eggs and crispy bacon, breads galore, crosssant, choice of hot drink, fresh orange juice, pot of chocolate, preserves, butter and an... More

Been there 3 times for lunch now. Served quickly enough for the break, "menu du jour" fairly priced, pieces of cake as a nice dessert was fair priced too. Location is central, atmosphere is really nice, waiters friendly. On the first floor they also sell pastries, bread etc. to take away. Will return regularly

This is a small place that you may miss when passing by Avenue Monterey. Cake and bread lovers may stop for a take away but one (especially visitors) should not underestimate the room on the second floor for a sit down service. The room is wood dominated and there is a huge table for groups or for sharing. For those... More

All sandwiches they have are tasty and made on demand. I recommend fromage blanc, tomates séchées et ciboulette. Breakfast was lovely, you get to choose from all the marmalades that are there, yogurt is homemade, fresh orange juice is tasty and the glass is really full. The severs are always smiling and the overall ambiance is really nice. They also... More
