We went to Giannini for lunch and aside from having the most beautiful view of Manuel island the experience was amazing. Sylvianne was our server and her service was both professional and welcoming. Food was exceptional and meat cooked to perfection. We will definitely be...More

The restaurant is located on the top floor of a residential building, which gives it a nice view of Sliema from all tables. There are only a few tables and thus the room is a bit noisy. The food was excellent and the service good....More

Great food, supplemented by equally fabulous views and superb service. Worth searching out.........not least for the lift from reception which takes diners to the restaurant!

Very happy we were referred to Giannini--- we had a lovely meal (quail, and risotto), great appetizers and a leisurely, unrushed meal with outstanding service.

I was very disappointed with such a restaurant. I booked much in advance to celebrate my partner’s birthday, called twice to make sure they book a special table as close to the view as possible. They confirmed. On the 30th December, the day I booked,...More

Probably a restaurant like that will definitely be, but you need to book like from next month while checking with them if they will open.

I can't say for sure but would expect they accept all major cards. You can always phone/email and ask them.

Giannini is a family run restaurant since 1988 and is an excellent place to have lunch or dinner when visiting Valletta. The restaurant is situated above St. Michael's bastions with vast views of Manoel Island and the pretty Marsamxetto Harbour. The third floor of a typical Malta townhouse, reached by lift from the ground floor lounge bar, has been converted into a delightful restaurant. Giannini tends to be popular with locals for business lunches and romantic dinners giving it a casual but discreet atmosphere. The cuisine is a delicious blend of Mediterranean food. Fresh fish is available daily (ask the host) and you should also consider the daily specials on the board. The a la carte menu changes according to season. A rather comprehensive wine list is also available to complement the meal.
